About our Puppy Classes
What is positive reinforcement training?
Positive reinforcement training involves rewarding desired behaviors. Because the reward makes your dog
more likely to repeat a behavior, positive reinforcement is one of the most powerful tools for shaping or
changing your dog's behavior. Rewarding your dog for good behavior sounds pretty simple, and it is!
What is force free training?
Force-free training focuses on promoting the well-being and mental health of dogs. It avoids the use of
physical force, pain, intimidation, or fear-based methods. This approach aligns with the principles of animal
welfare and promotes a positive and respectful relationship between the dog and the trainer.

What to expect
What happens after your Puppy Class enquiry?
After your Puppy Class enquiry, we'll give you a call to find out more about you and your pup, ensuring our class is a good fit. The first week of our course will be conducted via a Zoom call. This will give us the chance to introduce ourselves in a neutral environment, where both course leaders and all class participants can say hello and discuss their pups.
The course leaders will then go through the course structure and topics in more detail, followed by an opportunity for questions from the class participants. In week 2, we will convene face-to-face at our class locations for practical work to start.
We will be available via a group chat throughout the duration of the course to answer any questions you might have and offer advice to support your learning on this exciting journey with your new dog.
We are fully insured, and our classes will have a maximum of 8 dogs per class, over 6 weeks.
